HI Mike, Thanks for your entries! First time experience w/ this and your entry is great. Our favorite is #2 with a few edits. Love the blue lake image! 1. We would like to have the Longnose Gar instead of the Alligator Gar. We like how you made it look like it's jumping out of the water. in my overview, I submitted a pic of the Longnose Gar. It's skinnier and has spots. May need to adjust angle of jump to accomodate #3 below. 2. There is a creamy yellow color on the fins of the Longnose Gar picture...please adjust greenish/gold in middle of circle to complement the new fish image...less green/gold.. 3. Add the word "The" before Gnarly. Thinking w/ the Longnose it may be easier b/c it's skinnier...may need to adjust the size of the font. 4. Add a small yellowish star where Point Venture (where we're located) is on the lake image. I tried to include a link of map of Lake Travis below but it won't work. Please google map of Lake Travis and note where Point Venture is. 5. Would like to stick w/ whiteish letters and have all letters within The Gnarly Gar be the same size and spacing. Thank you so much for your entry and time! Anna
Hi Mike, I think we're almost there with entry #6... 1. We'd like the word "The" to be the same size as "Gnarly Gar" so please increase the font size of "The" and reduce font size of "Gnarly Gar". May need to make yellowish center bigger to accomodate if needed after font size edits but prefer not to if it looks ok. 2. Please put "Lake Travis, Texas" back in entry #2 position. May need to slightly rotate fish clockwise to make room for "Lake Travis, Texas" and reduce extra yellow above fish's back. 3. Please make mouth long and thin like submitted image of Longnose Gar. 4. I like the white star to indicate where Point Venture is and the white letters. 5. We like the fish body and yellow center color. Thanks again!
Hi Mike, Woke up w/ a couple of thoughts. We realized we need to include "Floating Grill, Bar & Fuel Dock". Want to go w/ # 6 inside yellow style but add more info. Please replace #6's "Lake Travis, Texas" with "Floating Grill, Bar & Fuel Dock" and move "Lake Travis, Texas" or "Lake Travis, Tx" to the bottom right along the curved line (under fish belly).
Hi there! 2 more things for #7 then I think we've got it. 1. Still wanting the nose/mouth of the fish needs to be like that of a Longnose Gar. link below is pic of Longnose nose/mouth to go by (the open mouth gar picture): http://www.outdooralabama.com/fishing/freshwater/fish/gar/longnose/picture.cfm 2. "Floating grill..." is somewhat difficult to read. Do you recommend making circles bigger or just changing text to be less ornate within the yellow circle?
Will the final logo file type we receive be editable? Ex: We will not want "Floating grill..." on the logo we'll be using on our menus so we'll want to be able to delete the "Floating grill..." text. Anna
#8 hi mike, please change outer circle to a darker brown..wanting a more vivid look. perhaps in navy too...not sure what that does to lake but would like to see both versions. thanks!
hi there, like #55! please flip words bar and grill please increase size of "lake travis texas" please add a "," after "lake" slightly increase lake size even if going behind "fuel dock" text thank you!
Thanks for the Contest - I will be away from computer until Monday - just wanted you to know that changes can be asked for during Judging Mode. Any designer can be ranked 1st (during Judging Mode) and upload design tweaks (only the 1st rank design can do this, but you as Contest Holder can put any designer in 1st and then ask for changes.) Hope this is clear. If you have questions about this - use the HELP button at the top of page and ask ADMIN about it. Mike
Hi Mike, #56 Like it! Is there another squiggle we can try on either side of "the"? Also want to remove the white outline on "fuel dock" so it will show up better. Thanks!
#56 would like to see a longer and skinnier version of the fish like you did in #26. thanks! oh...just read your out of contest until monday entry. thanks for heads up and edit option! anna
Just FYI - the fish is the same in both #26 and this one. Here's a version without the white behind the Fuel Dock - what do you think? I thought it got lost.
last change #58 please make the spacing with "texas" match "lake travis". prefer no extra spacing between the letters in "texas". thanks so much for all of your time and work!!! anna
