#89 is the best of the bunch. I think I am getting away from the chess piece though. Try getting rid of the roof and putting the house shaped shadow down at about 4'oclock angle to the 12.
Try this. Take the house shape used in #77 and turn it clockwise so the roof points to 4 or 5 o'clock. make it all black or charcoal or what ever color is a good "shadow" color. I am looking for this to look like the chess piece (as it is in #116) to cast a shadow of a house. Make sense? Again, I am not sure I am even going in this direction, but it could be if I can get it to feel and look right. Thanks.
