I wanted to make the logo like an eye-test chart. feedback welcome!

My first thought was no - that it was too simple or mundane. My second thought was that it's simple and elegant like I asked for. The more I look at it, the more it grows on me. It passes the visibility test from afar (ie monument sign in front of a building).

thanks for the feedback, it does help speed the process along ... Idid want to keep it simple to show how versatile it would be, but there are some very simple things we can do to make it a bit more interesting.

I like where this is going. The "R" in Optometry is a strange.

I like the new font on the bottom. Can you do another where 'The' is more prominent?

#30 looks mad
#29 is fun

#8 is still our top choice. Can you do another version of it with the word "The" just about the "Y" and about the same width as the "Y"?

Hi, is this what you meant, let me know if not. Thanks, husk.

#54 is what I meant. The "H" in THE is rather broad. Can it be a little more normal in width, even if it means making the word taller?

Thanks.. I still like #54 better than the new choices.

#57 - "The" is centered using the width of the top of the letters.. looks offset to the right when looking at the bottom of the letters.

how about something that gives contrast to the eye-chart text - makes it a bit more personal and solves the problem of the 'the' looking as if its not part of the eye test ?

and a reflection instead of a drop shadow - perhaps to give the appearance of a clinical white space

just tightened up the spacing a bit to give it a bit more balance
