I like the feel/weight of this logo, but I am worried that the icon doesn't quite fit with New York City real estate. We don't have houses with roofs like that. We're all apartment buildings and/or townhouses. What about tilting the icon so that the boxes are actually the footprints of two buildings and making the logo a bit more 3-dimensional?
Thank you for trying with #34. You definitely followed my suggestions to a T. Unfortunately, the new buildings look a bit too "commercial real estate" instead of residential real estate. I like #35 a lot, especially the colors and the original #15 is still a strong contender. Something still feels a little generic about the logos tho and I want to see if we can personalize it a bit more?
Maybe the squares in #15 can be transformed into a stylized "E" and "G". The first diamond can be turned into an E by adding a small line at the left-centerpoint and, similarly, the second diamond into a G by breaking the right-centerpoint and drawing a line back towards the middle there as well.
And for #35, my initial thought is to change the angled red lines into a stylized capital E that can be repeated the same way that the current lines are repeated... Basically remove the little stright lines at the right and shrink the perspective so that you can abstractly see a little of the middle and top lines in an inverted E.
(Hard to explain in words! Would be so much easier to draw what I mean! But I hope you understand)
