Wow... you just leapt to the front of the pack with both design ideas! Well done... I'm going back and forth between #25 and #24.

One thing I'm wondering: Can the skyline outline in #24 be tweaked a little to look a bit more like the Manhattan skyline? Particularly, I think the pointy-top one could look a bit more like the Empire State Building if it was a little taller and had a spire.

Lastly, I also liked the cleanliness and simplicity of #8, but the logo itself didn't quite grab me. It felt a little too "Commercial Real Estate" instead of "residential."

if you want my opinion I prefer #24 because is more modern, clean, dynamic and trendy

I'll tweak both designs to make them more similar to the NY skyline... including the Empire State
Thanks for the links... fortunately I was six times in NY last years and I have tons of pictures (also of the Empire State.... and the typical view from Brooklyn and New Jersey... typical tourist duty :)) ... I'll use to create the feeling that the skyline in my logos are from NY

about the entry #8 is not mine... I say because you want to comment to the designer about the "right" orientation :)
