Some typographic refinements – custom A and K to tie in with the angular look of the DR icon. This is so that the type also has a unique brand look and is easily recognisable.
Colours simplified to highlight the soft box D and slogan acts as an underline.
Any closer with the DR and it interferes with the wording and looks like part of the words.
Stacking the "THE" creates more emphasis on Dark Room and simplifies things overall, creating more balance.
Feedback appreciated. Other option has the thin rule after "The".
I like the lighter color on the top letter. I’d like to continue to explore the DR on the right but it’s not very well balanced as it is now. Can you push the DR close so it’s touching the title and the play around with the other word a bit to find a better balance?
I saw the revisions, but I actually think this original one is better. It looks more like the profile of a soft box. Can I see it with this D but with the base extended either down or out or both?
I would like to see it with the D a bit smaller so it’s a bit more proportional with completing the R. Also I’d like to see this in a few fonts please. Thank you for your design

Also, a new option with the "THE" tucked up. This makes the DARK ROOM text exactly the same height., feels more cohesive.
I look forward to your thoughts on it.

Thank you for uploading those reference colour palettes for inspiration. Some nice hues in there!
