This is my version, I thought about the lower-income residents, and I related them with the lower part of the sign $ showing a niche and confortable house there.

Hey Sebastian. Thanks for the idea. I definitely know what you're going for with the lower income angle. I think, though, that the dollar sign is too explicit. I will change the contest details to reflect that. The house part is attractive, and I think that I want the creek to be integrated into the logo.
