#157 If you have any variations of this or any other design I have submitted you would like see changes or revisions to, please let me know. I am committed to getting the design exactly as you envision.
Thank you for all of your helpful feedback!

#152 I've uploaded a few variations of the updated design, adding 'THE' and using CMH for the monogram. I have options with the monogram behind the text as well as in front of the text, in combinations of black, lighter raspberry and white.
Two tweaks, if you could: 1) Please return the word "The" to the top. All on 1 line as you have it, Cobert Music Heritage. 2) Monogram should be CMH, but please make it very distinct so that the letters are not a jumble--what I mean is please don't use the rightmost leg of the "M" to be also the leftmost leg of the "H." Could you try in black? Monogram could stay as it is or if you can, let's try that rosey contrast background in the monogram with some black letters...thanks
Good morning,
I have the two other options ready that you requested. Now that we are in the Selection phase only the 1st ranked designer can submit a new design. You can adjust the rankings as you make your decision.
Wow, thanks for all the variations! One more please. Can you use the color from #108 with this design and probably black text? And one more variant of Cobert Music Heritage all on one line?
Don't withdraw this one yet. Let's give it some time. Let' try something radical like change the background color black and the text to gold and grey emblem...you choose. It reads pink and white to me now. And remove "The". Thanks!
Love the contrast between the black and color! And l also think the two shades of the color work quite well. This is our favorite right now. However, I'm still intrigued by the red/green one. ~ Donna
Thank you for your comments! I'll show you a few other color combinations today and see if we can find that perfect balance. There are several ways you could use this on stationery/biz card, etc. For example, on your letterhead you could use the logo on a the raspberry/wine shade as a band of color across the top or bottom. You could also use the name logo design on white letterhead, having the logo itself be in the raspberry/wine color (no color background) . . .you could then make a very faint watermark of the graphic image on the middle or bottom of the letterhead.
I'm actually thinking that the little bit of yellow gold that you used in some other images might work with the watermark? Is this a dumb idea? Is it worth a try? Thanks!
Janis, You are so much more experience here than we are...how do we do this in 3 color dimensions as you have done? Could you comment on how this would replicate on stationary or website? Could you suggest color palette improvements to make those 3 dimensions distinct? Would a bit of black make things pop? Part of our problem is that we are trying to understand how this transfer from paper stationery to website. We are naive but appreciative! Thanks so much for working with us on this project.
I've uploaded three slightly different versions of this one. The lighter the background the less contrast you have with the image in white. To make the white really stand out you need to have a darker color.
#85 Working on this now. If we make the graphic element images smaller and use as a watermark it may not be discernable what they are, but I can certainly show you.
Janisart, Could we try this one with a slightly "whiter" background, meaning a more dusty rose color, and stand out the white letters in the brightest white? Also, the small flourish at the bottom of the "R"... could this be also added to the "M"? Can you try the whole thing with a watermark of the images and make them smaller, as in a subtle background? Can you try this whole scheme and remove the word "The"? Just some thoughts for now...
Here are additional details: we'd like a more tailored font, with clean lines. We are now open to color. We like the idea of a watermark of the image. We also discussed why the fields to left and right of the center are not further exploited by designers? Is it a trend to put everything in a middleground like that? We'd like to be able to use the image as a "stand-alone" in the way that Apple uses an apple...for reusability...we think that your work would lend itself to this concept...receptive to your refinements! Thx!
#58 Hi Donna,
Maybe something more like this? I've removed the singer figure since it primarily a weed/reed instrument direction. I'll be here all day doing design if you have any further comments.
Kind regards,
Janis

The font is moving in the right direction. Perhaps try moving the Heritage to be along with the Foundation. And something else besides the triangle? Claude doesn't like the singer figure.
#34 I’ll delete the ones in the gallery you are not interested in. I’ll be doing design work all day if you have additional requests. Also will show you the design in black and white as well. As I work on the project I’ll send any new idea over that I think is worthy.
Thank you!
Janis
I have uploaded a couple of new designs and will continue to work on your project all day today to see where I can improve and maybe even explore other directions. : )
Hi Denise,
Thank you for your comments! I'm working on adding the larger flute player and will send over later today. I have an appointment this morning but will work on this as soon as I return. Logo Tournament prefers we keep all communication here until after the project is completed to keep everything above board.
I am enjoying working on your project! Thank you again for all of your wonderful feedback.
Kind regards,
Janis
Janisart, you are so talented! here's my email: denise.lagasse@gmail.com. I'll come at your for other projects of course through logo tournament. If we choose your Cobert logos, I'd like to compensate further. Is there a mechanism of reward that the creative will directly recieve? Please let us know.
Janisart, I love this but need buy-in from Claude. Could you add a couple more strokes to the image? A larger flute player in black but hugging his dad and mom somehow? Just a thought...white might be better or that shadow raspberry ? Your work is elegant and I for one am enjoying your creativity! Thanks so much! /Denise
#17 You could use the graphic both ways, depending upon the application. The graphic image can be used behind the text as a watermark or background image.
Just to clarify for your consideration: Aunt Jacqueline was a well-known opera singer. Her husband, my uncle Josef, was a well-known flautist. Claude is their son, well known flautist in his own right. Claude married to Donna, well-known oboist. I am the musicologist on the fringe! Thx!
How wonderful! I will do my best to honor Aunt Jacqueline, your cousin and Uncle Josef! Leu me work on this tomorrow with fresh eyes.
Kind regards,
Janis
another thought: this logo has great "white" space, important to keep...could the flute imagery be below and the opera voice above the name? Not sure, not my expertise, just a random thought to make sure my Aunt Jacqueline is remembered in the image, too...the flute players are my cousin and his late dad, my Uncle Josef. Without cluttering your great design, would love your help in tweaking this...
Very nice. Janisart, could you add a pictorial reference to our mom and aunt, an opera virtuosa? Crazy to say, but two heads, one depicting the vocal instrument? Or something better? Love the balance of this entry but I am only 1 judge! Thank you!
#3 Hi.
Thank you for ranking my design! Graphic element (C) mimics the musician and common time music symbol. I'll continue to work on ideas throughout the weekend.
Your feedback is appreciated!
Kind regards,
Janis
