The client did not like the colors. The colors you have used here get a positive response and the one with red in it. Some items that could change to make an impact without changing the logo color are:
1. Font
2. Style of chef hat
3.Style of cup cake
4. Style of plate
5. Shadowing
Hi Artur, Can you please turn around the tool at the top and straighten the rolling pin a little?
Using this same logo colors and word/logo position, are there any other changes you can make in font and positioning of the items to take this logo up a notch? We are in the last phase before finalist and we want to see what else can be done. ;-)
Taking this same concept of the white with black space around it, can you take a look at the inspo that has a hat and cupcake and use those two items in the middle space of the logo (not the exact hat and cupcake but something original).
Hi Artur, Thank you for for creating a stand alone logo design! I appreciate the variation in color. If there is anything else that comes to mind please share. This one is inspiring.
Hi Artur,
Thank you for the updates entries. We did keep one of the new ones. :-)
1. Would you consider looking at other chef utensils as well as the knife
2. Take a look at if there is anything you can do with the negative space and more varied utensils. Please keep the same chef knife.
3. For the font the client really likes sophisticated type fonts. that are bold type.
Thank you again for being open to going further with this design.
Hi Artur, This is really nice design! We have two ideas we would like you to try please:
1. Try to include a knife in Chef or Love
2. In a separate design, try to include a knife or knives in the heart design.
Please make this two separate and additional design.

It's relatively less heavy looking compared with this icon. I hope you understand what I mean :)

By the way, what do you think about the icon in #283 ?
