Well, not sure I can do any better than that :)

Sometimes you just hit on something and it works, I think it's a clever concept.

If you win this competition, would it be possible to get various color alternatives, etc for marketing reasons? Also, will the logo be large enough for signage or will we have to have multiple logos for different sizes?

Could you do one with the grape, note, and olive to the left with the text to the right? Our sign above the building is a 16' x 30"

Most likely i'll have to adjust the icon size for use as a 'sign-off'.

I'll scale the logo ( with icon to the left) to 30 wide x 16 high,
And ill put a light tone in the background so you can see the exact position.

It's nice to have some negative space, it lets the logo breath.

I agree with the negative space and letting the logo breath. I screwed up describing the dimensions to you though, it is 16 feet wide by 30 inches tall. I'm assuming that you can make everything that is black in color white as well for putting the logo on black images?

How will this work for getting all of the different logos, do I email you and you just send them back to me, or is it all through this website?

If the sign is taller than narrow, don't you think it it is better to stack the logo?

The logo will also look great "white" on black background. I can supply that later through personal emails,
if I am lucky enough to win.

The contract only calls for the two master art files.
Once the contest is complete and paid, any contact between the two parties is independent of logo tournament and done through personal emails.

It is easy to change colors and sizes, but that is not included. Most designers will (myself included) do it for free as long as they are sesonable requests. If the request get to complicated everyone must be reasonable...

It have never had to charge anyone.

Bill, Congrats on winning! As discussed previously, please send me the different versions of this file (logo on side, logo for dark images, logo as is, etc. I also really like the logos that were just two colors (#30 & #31)
