Here is my initial logo idea for your wrestling team. I wanted to reflect the look and feel of the main U.S. logo, while keeping it as it's own unique brand as well. I am still working on some additional layouts, so I will post others that I find to be well done as well. Thanks!
That first entry was intended to display the individual parts on their own (the logo and the custom wordmark). Here is a more refined, all-encompassing layout that is really an official logo.
Thanks for the design input but, we are looking to get more of a logo that snaps out at you. Something that has detail that will catch your eye. In particular, the Bronze winner design # 68. It has real detail in the logo that stands above the state emblem. Instead of the Girl in the logo just standing there with her arm raised, we want action in the logo and more of a defined detailed look to the individuals. (Hair, face, etc.)
Also I looked through your portfolio and saw 2 designs that are catching. 1st is the "Blansford Barnstormers" Polo logo. That design "Pops" out at you and has good color detail. the 2nd is the "Team Tough" logo. It seems to hover at you. Both are good ideas to go with.

Lovin the Entry #11 and 12. Can you get me the girls in a "Freestyle" move? In the Team Georgia and USA logo's they are in the middle of a freestyle move called a "Suplex". The Girl's will only wrestle Freestyle after High School and we feel that this is the action that we would like to see. Here is a link to the Team Georgia website that has both Team Georgia and USA Wrestling Logos on it.
I created a new pair of girls, complete with a suplex and more details than the previous entries. I hope you like this new layout better, as it is more of an all-encompassing emblem--this would work and look great on both your site and apparel! We can also easily change the colors as needed to fit onto any background or medium.
