Here is one without shading on the shield.

This does look better, thank you.

But I'd still like the extra shading on the shield to be removed. (Back to the way it was in your first version, that was great.) The shield shading here will not look clean in embroidery on a shirt.

I made cougars more pronounced and lines a bit thinner. I tested it on my phone and the level of detail seems to be right for a crest logo. I left some shadows as they add the depth to the design.

We also like the cleaner, thinner lines here and less shading (compared to the one with the crown and the ribbon.) It's easier to see on a phone as it is in this version.

We decided we prefer the TC Capital as it is here instead of the ribbon, but we prefer the crown to the Knight's helm, so if you could combine this way of presenting the company name with the crown crest that would be great.

The biggest issue we have after that is the visual clutter of the leaves. We love the two cougars in this, but they disappear almost completely into visual clutter when viewed on a mobile device. It kind of gives the impression of octopus arms right now.

Our first thought was to ask for the top leaves (by the crown) to be removed and the middle ones on the side. Leaving just the leaves under the cougars and the ones going down the side of the crest...but then we worried that it would look like the cougars were sitting on bull horns, which would likely look bad. So we think you may be a better judge as to what to tweak with the leaves...we just want it to be about 25-50% less visually cluttered so that it'll look good on a mobile device or a polo pocket.

This is still one of our favorite designs in the contest, we're just trying to make it work better for viewing when it is small (like a phone or a shirt pocket.)
