I really like your logo idea, but I'm not loving the stylized "T" in it. Two possible ways I'd like to see this design done differently:
1. The logo you have, without the "T" element - just plain
2. A serif type font for the Tate Actuarial Part
Not sure if I'd like either better than what you have, but I don't think I can be sure unless I could see it.
