Tahoe SAFELogo Design Contest

HI there! This is my first idea. Having the whole Tahoe area shielded from all kind of violence making the Tahoe region a better place to live.

I'd like the see the name listed as "Tahoe SAFE" emphasizing only the SAFE in capital letters. I love the idea of the hands, maybe put two together and turn then so we see the Allstate logo hands? The one hand just looks like its a platform for the mountains, where 2 together holding the scene in might seem more nurturing? Your call... (click on link below for Allstate logo).

I also looked for a more iconic image of Lake Tahoe to use as a model for your graphic- adding the lake into the scene- one that locals would recognize. Here is a link to one;

I would ask you to ignore the buildings in this one, and maybe the trees up the right side of the frame and show more lake.

Another great source of LT images is at;

Good shots are is106, is019, is046, west shore, is108, and Talbot Images 219.

You could also incorporate a small amount of blue sky and lake, and green trees into you image, while still including primarily the purple, especially in the word SAFE. A few of the Talbot images have some great purpleish skies at sunset.

Just some ideas- look forward to seeing a revision!
