hello, first submission.
#1 and #2 abstract S. synergy (according to wikipedia) ... two or more things functioning together to produce a result.... in this case two curves working together to make an 'S'

other design #3 #4 #5,.. they have corporate looking and not too sporty

also let me know about the color, which you like, etc. thanks

Hi wolv, thanks for your entries. #1 and #2 look a little too "video gamer" for us, which is why we rejected them. #5 feels a bit too corporate...we're trying to get away from that and into perhaps a more "sporty/fresh" feel.
#4 is interesting, but a bit too pharma (generic) looking.

#3 is interesting. I like how it almost looks like the S is "synergistically" created into some sort of gear. Still looks slightly rigid, but I like where it's going.

Also I like the vibrance (color) of #2. The shape of the S isn't hitting it with me.

Hi wolv. #3 and #24 are looking pretty good. My concern is that we are going to be using this logo on print material. Can we reduce/remove the gradients and shadows on these? I feel that printed materials will not display the gradients shadows well.

Also I'd like to see these logos with a couple different font selections. Can we try one or two serifs and a few more sans-serifs? Some of my team members would like to see some different pairings. Also how would these logos look on an inverse (dark background)? Could you provide samples of that?

sure, that is not a problem. for me, i always give my client various format of my design (upon completion of the contest). those are the design in horizontal and vertical format, full gradient color, flat color, black/white/inverse color.

right, will send you the flat colors, inverse, and some new fonts.

ok bunch of updates.
#81 and #84 both logo in flat color without gradient
#82 and #85 both logo in inverse color, including the logo color, makes interesting color ;)
#83 and #86 both logo with only background inverse.

the new fonts:
#87 #88 #89 #90 #91 logo1 trying new fonts serifs and sans, play with case, italics
#92 #93 #94 #95 #96 logo2

For #83, could we make the Synergetics text the color of the light blue gear? The dark blue gear doesn't have enough contrast.

The dark blue color is good for the light background however.
