that is the font unique character. it's a semi-serif font which designed for modern purposes. if you want a rounded font I can't give you that because I will violated other designer right. infact rounded font is usually used for business related to kids. unless you want a clean san serif font like my entry #32 ?

I just feel like the logo is a bit "childish". What I mean is that some letters like "p" & "t" & "w" feels a bit curly at the edges. Got some suggestions for it?

The placement of the hand is good and the design of the handshake is ok, but i don't like text, it looks very far from modern. So try to keep the idea with the handshake but experiment around it!

But I would love to know deeper about what you mean with the design doesn't really appeal to you. Is it the placement of the hand between the word? or you want another style of handshake design?
