This is closer, it definitely helps to have NJ be a different font. Can we go in a different direction and pick a font for NJ that has the same vibe as the pink part of the W but leave it black? I love that by the way, that pink W gives the logo its unique feel.
I still like this logo better, I think it has to do with breaking outside the circle. Can you make the NJ a little smaller, bolder and grey? Also can you do a variation if this were on black?
