Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,

Hi Angus! I really like the wasp in #14. We want people to somewhat understand that we are swarming the internet so maybe a wasp (or swarm of wasps) swarming a computer or the globe or even just swarming the letters of Swarm Net.
We also like the idea of using a sheild as our company logo is a shield (www.contegoservicesgroup.com).
We like either yellow black and grey or red black and grey, but would like to stay away from yellow and red together.
