I'm not looking for red/white and blue/white color schemes. That was just an example of two large company logos and how those colors easily connect to the brand. So try to come up with a color scheme for Swanee's logo.

You have to think, when someone sees the logo, they will first remember the color. The colors you have so far are hard to remember.

I really like the layout, but for someone reason, the colors just are not working.

Not the exact same logo shape as http://www.naturemade.com/~/media/Images/NatureMade/Images/Logos/NMLogo148x52.ashx?h=52&w=148 I'm looking for a logo that will standout and is unique (shape) But still simple.

The 2nd ranked logo may be used in the center of the label/box for the product name, while a simple logo of the company will be placed at the very top of the label.
I definitely like the color scheme of the 2nd ranked logo. Therefore, I suggest for the logo, choose a color that stands out, but matches with the colors of the 2nd ranked logo.
