SVCC Presents Oportunity HackLogo Design Contest

I'm liking both of these two you did with Opportunity Hack on top. It looks to me like the font is not quite the same in both as the Opportunity Hack site (http://opportunity-hack-san-jose-2016.devpost.com/) Please check that. Opportunity hack wants their logo to basically remain unchanged (just the words).

Also, I'd like to see what it would look like square, that is with the graphic on top or bottom and layed out to look good. -thanks

Please show with svcc on two lines. Also show how it would look square

Please modify to make opportunity hack bigger and svcc smaller. And fix spelling of opportunity

We have updated our “ideas/brief” to better describe what we are looking for. Please re-read this as it has changed from what was there before. The contest has been extended for another 3 days. -Thanks (update is below also)

We want a graphic created that has the Opportunity Hack logo exactly as it is on their site http://opportunity-hack-san-jose-2016.devpost.com/. That is, just the words, not the graphic to the right. We want this graphic to also include the Silicon Valley Code Camp logo which can be seen at the URL https://www.siliconvalley-codecamp.com/. We are not as concerned that the Silicon Valley Code Camp stay exactly the same but colors should be the same and it should be close to what we have already. We do not want the number “11” in there. We would like the words used and not the block letters.
Both Logos should have equal weight on the site. That is, SVCC and Opportunity Hack are equal partners here.
In addition, we want to include the words “Developers Giving Back” (in mixed case) prominently showing and that be clear that it applies to both logos (Opportunity Hack and Silicon Valley Code Camp).
In addition, we also want a common graphic to pull all this together showing that we (Silicon Valley Code Camp and Opportunity Hack) are working together. That graphic could be a globe of some kind, a circle, clever use of arrows, or anything that shows the togetherness we want.

I have update the designs in #76 and #77.
You can use both to make it more comfortable

One goal (that I did mention and is not required) is that we be able to make the logo work square and also rectangular. That is, the graphic on top or to the left. The long "Developers Giving Back" makes that hard here.

I'm feeling like the developers giving back could have some more separation and a little bigger. Also, the Opporutnity Hack logo is not just text but has a little but of a flare to it, see url http://opportunity-hack-san-jose-2016.devpost.com/

All caps looks good but hard d to read. Better mixed case and also needs to be a little bigger I think

Interesting but not colorful enough and too small fonts, can't read.
