#60 Generally I like the circle with text but I am not sure what is happening inside the middle. WAY too MUCH going on. The design inside looks a little scary. Can you tame down the design. Use a different symbol. Do not keep any aspect of the middle of that design.
#61 I like the design. Try adding a different color scheme. Add gold or silver or blue. It is too monochromatic.
#60 The circle itself is too strong (the border pixels are too thick)
#71 is my favorite from all of the recently submitted. The "Si" in the back is not overpowering the name of my business. I would like to see the "i" moved just a tiny bit to the right so it separates Supreme and Images. Also, I am thinking a horizontal line may help in between the Supreme Images and Photography.
#113 can I see this with White Photography and my tagline smaller? I think the three lines all ending in the same length is distracting. Do you agree? Can you also make the color have less red/orange and more towards the color you used on #111. Somewhere in the middle maybe.
Fast! Thank you! I like #121 the best so far. The spacing is better. The color of Supreme Images is much better. It is hard to see on my end what colors you used but I am thinking Supreme Images can be a tad darker and/or Photography can be white/lighter.
I am struggling with the slogan/tagline. I feel as if it is too close to the word photography. I am not sure if I want to keep it in or not. Would it look good under the "S" or would that be too far down?
Do you happen to know how many changes I can request after the competition is over? Am I allowed to make small changes? I would hate to make you have to do a bunch of small edits now...
yes for the winning design you can ask for edits just tell the designer what edits you want exactly and they can modify it....there is no limit as such to it to get the perfect one as nobody asks unreasonable number of edits usually.
i usually take up the edits on 1 to 1 via email directly once i am awarded so that its faster and client is happy at the end of the day...depends on the designer
#140 works better than the previous versions. Yes. It is so clustered with three lines. I am still trying to decide if want the tagline, but you have made it an improvement.
As far as color, I think you are on the right track with #140 or #129. My biggest concerns are the placement of my name and tagline, the "S" in the background being too noticeable, and it being a tad too big. The design is obviously nice, but there is just that subtle factor that I cannot place.
ok in #141 i have tried to address your concerns....i reduced the size of s in background as well as deepened its color so that it blends into the background. do let me know if its better or should i decrease its size or deepen its color further.
when you watermark your images i suppose you will be using the icon not the full logo... in this case the s in the background if yes then based on your image dimensions that si size can be altered and used separately, so that won't create a problem.
as for the logo the s yes is lighter hence stands out and makes the logo off as the name n tag line is in gold but the size in #141 i think it is fine ... if i reduce s too much the impact of watermark will get lost as though its not be the focus it should be visible....however by darkening it further it will blend in more ....its currently at 96.6% black so i can deepen it further before it mixes totally with background.
let me know if you want me to deepen it further or want to try smaller s.
Lots of information. Let me see if I can simplify this all.
I am liking the reduces opacity of the new designs, but when I looked at them from another monitor, they were almost too invisible. On my monitors they look ok. I think you have done so much already for this, I am not concerned that you not be able to deliver a perfect logo if selected.
Watermark: I may use the entire logo. Over time I will want to use just a symbol. One of my friends asked me if I could have the gold medalian (#111) logo as a symbol/watermark along with the wordmark.
Backgrounds: Stick with solid black. "Si" I am liking the color of #141 better than the rest. I want something subtle but visible and not too "loud".
ok here's #147 and #148 with the medalian as watermark
colors are dependent on the monitors we see them on and will vary from crt to plasma to lcd hence the shade in #141 is the safest bet as deeper than that will make it look black on plasma or lcd monitors
