Note:
I will be unavailable for the remainder of the finalist stage. Feel free to submit as many options/ideas/versions as you want us to consider to help us select a winner. Unfortunately, I will not be able to comment on any more designs, since I will not have access to a computer.
Good luck and thanks for all your efforts!!!
What if the text were on the left side here and the sun/profile on the right? If so, I'd stop the top of the head at the midline, keeping the tapered end like the neck
Maybe move profile further right so line of the to of the head aligns more with the I in SUNSHINE.
May help overall balance to move the sun closer to the text since it seems somewhat detached now.
Also thinking less of a downward slope on the top of the head may open the design up. In other words, stopping the line close to the top of the head, before the line turns downward
Needs more space between the text and profile. Right and left sides should feel balanced. Would be good to see two versions, one with the profile in blue (like this) and another with the profile colored like the sun.
Like this profile the best. Can you keep the sun on the left and move the profile to the right overlapping some of the text. Obviously you'd include less of the top of the head. thx
Another idea may be to stick with #360. Put this face on the far right and then continue the face/profile lines (as it is here) to the left to form a border around the entire logo, with either normal or rounded corners on the left. Did that make sense?
Returning the main graphic to the midline (lowering it to where it was in relation to the text), can you take this facial profile and rotate it so that it is facing a bit upwards. Maybe also add a small downturn for the neck?
This is nicer, I think.
Also, an advisor has recently suggested that the top logos all lack a human element. I remember you had a profile in earlier designs (#48). Can you think of a simple way to include a partial face outline in this design (not a whole head). We wouldn't want to overcomplicate the design, but a human quality might make it seem/feel warmer. Not sure how to do this, though, exactly.
This orientation does not work, since the text and graphic seem too detached from one another. Wondering what this would look like if you increase the size of the graphic to fill the frame and superimposed the text in the center of it. May look horrible, but curious.
Better. Now I'm wondering if you could add color to the I in SUNSHINE. Maybe even the same gradation of multiple colors as in the graphic. Trying to tie the text and the graphic together and make the whole thing more dynamic/playful.
Can you replace this text with that for #165? Also curious to see what this would look like if you incorporated the same use of color that you used in #165 with this design. Thx
The team has officially decided that you are one of our top 5 finalists! We like multiple designs/versions of yours (not just this one) and will discuss over the next few days any requests for revisions. Thanks for all your hard work and congratulations. We will be in touch soon! (Note: The top 5 are not yet ranked in exact order of preference)
Thanks for all these revisions. We wouldn't be requesting them unless this was one of the top designs. Progress is being made! Now, if you look at the brief there's a design for Springfield Cardiology. Can you replicate the EEG line used in that design for this one?
You got the shape of the line right, now can you make it thinner and use it for design #44? The brightness of the sun in that one is preferable to this one. Also not sure which text arrangement I like more so maybe both version would be good to compare. thx!!!
Updated note about rankings: For this stage we are opting to rank our favored designs in ALPHABETICAL order by Designer's name, just for sake of convenience during the review process. For now, please ignore the exact number your design(s) are currently ranked. Yours may be our favorite design!
Note that the exact rankings do not reflect order of preference. I like this design and have pinned it for review by other members of our organization. No other feedback at this time. Thank you!
