Hi, sure, I can send you aditional files you need, (pdf, png, ai, etc.) No problem about the font, I can share the name and files too. We can exchange email info for further work, but site rules ask us to make that only after the contest be completed.

We want to thank you for all your work! We decided to wait on including the character, until we finish the website. It may be that we further develop it and add it in our other marketing. Is there a way to contact you after the contest if we want to further explore other branding concepts with you? Also, when we select your logo, we request all versions you can provide, including vector, native Adobe Illustrator, and color variations if possible. Will you also share what font you used in the second place logo for the "MAFIA"? Thanks again. Once we hear from you to verify, we'll officially select the winning logo.

Hi, sorry for the delay, this is my character proposal for your brand:

1) I try to fit the fresh and modern style of the logo proposal with similar traces and face on the kid. Also the hair is similar and help remembering the brand with the kid.

2) I recommend the cap better than the fedora, the fedora doesn't show the hair as the cap could make.

That is something I can make, is just a character will take me a couple of hours to sketch it, vectorize and integrate him to the logo, I'm currently out of town for weekend, I'll return tomorrow, I can make the character for you until tomorrow afternoon, is that fine?

It doesn't have to be super realistic. Maybe slightly more on the cartoon, or character side.

We've seen your other logos in your portfolio, and we really like your style, and your talent with characters. We will be launching a merchandise line including items like plush characters. We would love to see your creativity in adding a character to the logo. Let's try putting a figure to the right of the stacked words peeking out from behind them like it's a hiding place. Maybe showing just arms and head, or maybe half a body like he's about to step out to surprise us. Make him a hip, cool light brown skin, teenager with modern clothes, maybe jeans, a t-shirt and a un-tucked button down shirt rolled up at the sleeves, possibly a ball cap on backwards, or a fedora, and have those unmistakable 3 dreadlocks sticking out from under his hat. Because we are a performing and entertainment group, having an iconic persona highlighted in the logo, which could also stand alone as a merchandise item, or as a figure on our website would be amazing! With your obvious skills in designing characters we think you'll do awesome!

These are looking good. Let's use the icon from #66 with the font from #68. Make the dot over the "i" orange or yellow. Try using a more subtle serif font for "MAFIA" ... maybe something with smaller serifs, instead of blocked serifs. Don't worry about matching the "SM" in the icon with the full word fonts.

Here are the changes, hope you like them.

Try using a different font from the "SM" used in the icon. Try a san serif for "Sunshine" in title case; and try a serif font for the "MAFIA" in all caps.

I just submit some revisions based on your feedback, hope they are correct with your request.

Try adding either a drop shadow to the icon to make it pop a little, or maybe a half-border... we like how the hair breaks the border, so I'm not sure we want a thick border to interfere with that element. Play with it.

Also consider the juxtaposition of the words "Sunshine," which is a very joyful happy image, with "Mafia," which is usually associated with heavily shrouded mystique and a little danger.

Let's remove the "Sunshine Mafia" from below the Icon, and let's try versions where the "Sunshine Mafia" are larger and to the right of the icon. Try some font versions and options with one line and two lines. We want to balance the simplistic style of the Icon with font choices that still make the overall brand appeal to grown ups too. (Adults will be making the purchasing decisions, although the brand targets youth)
