Thanks for considering the SHC version. Perhaps the cross + symbol on the H resembles the Hilary H symbol :D Here's the updated version of the SHC inside the sunrise circle.

Hi, thanks for this creative idea. At a glance, however, this made me think of a person with spiky hair and big glasses. :) Maybe if the SHC were contained within the circle and the sun outline was completed as a circle?

here's the version where the top orange burst on top like a rising sun.

I like this a lot, thanks. Interesting icon. What if you rotated it 90 degrees to the right so the orange band is on top, i.e., like a rising sun? Or maybe try it rotated 45 degrees to the right?

I like the text treatment a lot. The icon is too evocative of the Obama logo (voted for him twice, but don't want a logo that is identified with any politician). Thanks.
