I tried to abstractly work in details from the area - from the curves (and actual flowing shape) of Old Hickory Lake, to the blooming flowers of spring and the farm lands that you get to outside of Nashville / Davidson County. (It's funny - my wife and I lived along Percy Priest lake lake for a couple of years, but we were always at OH lake because all of our friends lived in H'ville and gallatin)I went with a single color logo because I thought it would work great as an ink stamp. It's be easy to build off of for an actual mark for merchandise promoting the area (tshirts, hats, etc.) - or to have local businesses stamp advertising / customer receipts, etc. with supplied ink stamps. Thank you for your time & considerationjosh 12 years ago wearekeystone Client Thanks for the comment and the thoughts. We like the look and how you have incorporated the lake and farm land, and we agree with the Southern feel. We would like to see a star that looks more like a star anchor plate. We have several buildings with this star. See what you think: http://www.oldnewbb.com/710stars.jpg 12 years ago wearekeystone Client Also love that the year is there. 12 years ago Josh Logo Designer Thanks for the feedback and rank! I'll work on that revision and have it up shortly. :) 12 years ago Josh Logo Designer #42 / #43Here are some revisions - #43 has more detail, but it may not work as small. #44 is more idealized - I think it works a little better at various sizes and still looks "clean"thanksjosh 12 years ago wearekeystone Client Thanks Josh. We are reviewing everything. I think there is some concern that it is "too much." Do you see an easy way to achieve the same feeling with not quite so much detail? 12 years ago Josh Logo Designer #56 / #57 / #58 / #59I've tried to tone down the detail, but attempted to keep some detail as to not risk becoming too bland / corporate-looking.#58 - the same logo but with the detail sized down a bit.#56 - a new "scaled back" version #57 / #59 - same as #56, minus the grain. If there are any improvements I can make, please let me know :) Thanks!josh 12 years ago
