I like #12 - can you make the kiwi a bit stronger? it's almost too soft that folk outside NZ won't see what it is.
But I do like the South Island graphic - links our area strongly.
I intend to place SUBWAY logo over / on the finished graphic - and the kiwi icon works best for this (SUBWAY logo in bottom r/h corner).
Can you try this - layer the circle (with either South Island or Kiwi) on top of the blue rectangle, place it maybe 80% weighted towards left hand side of rectangle. Place the "Office of the DA" & "South Island, NZD" text to the right. Place "Saving the world one sandwich at a time" bottom, in front of reflection.
Can you change #30 from kiwi icon to South Island map icon?
And #31 - can you remove the yellow stripe (as we have yellow for the map) and just replace with teh blue? - that might look very good when the SUBWA logo is placed on it (white and yellow).
But I think the SUBWAY logo will need to be bigger as part of the overal ldesign - so likely #31 we would locate the logo above the text "D.A."
Can you also give me images on white backgrounds (with the slight mirror effect) instead of grey or black? Mostly will use the logo on white backgrounds such as email footers and powerpoints, etc.
Sorry - the lines across the South Island doesn't do it for me.
How about you go back to a 'clean' South Island (as in #34), replace the white stripe (in #35) with a simplie fern effect and combine these with the shield and text as in #48. Text to the front and fern effect behind.
I agree - the SUBWAY logo can go above - and that also gets us around issues with the trademark (if the logo is kept clean and seperated from my logo).
#82 is very good - no changes at this point, other than insert a comma after "South Island" to better define NZD - or insert "New Zealand" as a seperate line (but I think too busy with four lines of text.
