We were thinking a soap bubble or several bubbles that would have a face or faces on them. Eye brows lowered and gritting teeth in an aggressive way. keep the tire tread as the back ground. thanks.
How about a figure similar to the Michelin Man but made out of bubbles that looks like a pissed off body builder. A muscle guy that is really muscular like the golds gym guy but bubbles.
We also thought of a bubble face holding two stupid soap squirt bottles like they are guns wearing a cowboy hat. Tombstone and Outlaw Josie Wails tough.
Looking through the contest, I think the "aggressive guy made from bubbles" concept is already claimed by doncorvair, so I (or other designers) can't use it. I do have a more agressive/less dorky guy in the works, though.
Yes. It's his concept to develop. Since we're all technically independent contractors, the rights to unique design elements belong to the respective designer.
I've got a new character I'm going to upload in a few minutes, though :)
#35 That is definitely an improvement, but still not our guy. We would like to see the name centered on the tread pattern and the the guy centered over the top of the product name. Maybe a dude in a cowboy hat holding two quirt bottles gritting his teeth. Thanks for working on this.
#39 Hi! I realized that the pump bottles were concealed enough in his hand that it probably didn't matter. I put a wrench in his shirt pocket for the degreasing aspect and gave him a checkered flag bandana to hit on the racing aspect.
Good thoughts Josh. He looks a bit like a drunk cowboy. Can you make him more muscular? We will need a bit more color to make the logo pop. Thanks for working with us. Patrick
Are you still sticking to 3 or less colors? Black counts as a color (if you're printing on clear labels, white will count too) That might be why it doesn't seem to pop as some logos with more colors...
I talked to my printer and he said go up to 4 colors. We are not going to count the green because that is the color of the soap. We want the color to stand out against that green background. Leave it in for now and make the name pop. As for the spray bottles go to http://www.uline.com/BL_6965/Industrial-Gojo-Soap-Dispenser-Refills. Have the dude hold these like guns. If you can in a way you can see a smaller stupid soap label on the spray bottles. That should look pretty cool. Thanks Josh.
