#30 - symbol improved.. a more masculine overall look.. concept development... The red part of the S is designed to remind of a devils tail but because half of it is hidden one could argue that its just the rest of the S. Does it meet the brief ?
#30 - I love how the S wraps under the M...very sexy and suggestive of lots of things in a subtle way. Exactly on par with my brief! Don't be afraid to add some colour if you see fit.
any small revisions or color changes wont be a problem in case you decide to go with a design which has a unique look and concept and represents more than just initial letters,it will have a hidden value for its specific audience and most important its an intelligible logo. I do not recommend the use of the indigo color(consult another professional if you dont trust me) but if you insist I can still try to find some creative use of it. Will your logo make sense considering the nature of your business? It is not a coincidence that the vast majority of world renowned logos use maximum 2 colors and are intelligible. Let me know if you have any questions.
Very good advice Stickie. I'm very confused right now as to what I want. There have been so many excellent ideas. I flip flop from one thing to another. The order things are in right now is not necessarily what I want. I let my gf influence me too, which has been a good thing but bad also. I need time to think about it all.
I appreciate your comments and efforts. For the money at stake it's hardly worth it for you I'm sure.
If you are having difficulties you may try to ask the people in your company about their opinions or even let them vote...you can also consult an expert and taking your time to think about it is great because clients who make their decisions in a rush sometimes regret their choice ...
At least I tried to help... It wont take long for me to sell the concept to a similar business so you dont have to worry about my time an efforts, it will also make a great addition to my porfolio as a keenly developed and well executed design while perfectly solving the problems within the project brief and the understanding of a client's product or service and goals, their competitors and the target audience is translated into a visual solution created from the manipulation, combination and utilisation of shape, color typography and space. Graphic design is and always will be about visual communication.
“Like all forms of design, visual design is about problem solving, not about personal preference or unsupported opinion.”
The square design suggests a room or studio. The square also suggests what you see in the viewfinder of a camera. The SM provides a subtle reference to SadoMasochism.
