I like 84 through 87. Like the shutter circle. do not like the font particularly the "S"...bothers me for some reason. please continue working on this. I like your work.

What is the concept in 85? Is that an S as the logo. What is the idea there?

Hi,

Thanks for your input. #85 is a conceptual design from a D and an S. The red part being the D, and the whole think makes an S.

I will remake the typefaces as soon as I wake up. It's 5:30 AM in Romania now.

Andrei

Hi again DS,

Just to be sure, I've made some typeface adjustments now, just to be sure I won't miss the chance as it's the last day. Looking forward to your input.

Thanks,
Andrei

'Morning DM,

Worked on implementing a M into the logo and this is what I came up with:

#117 & #118 - a whimsical interpretation of an m and #119, a more clearer M blending with DM. (In my opinion you could also use the DM concept, since they are starting letters in your business name, and you also seem to authenticate with them).

What do you think?

Thanks,
Andrei

i like 119 the best but the M kind of looks like a N if i were to use it alone without the text to watermark pics for example, it would look like an N i think. can you work on that a bit? Might just stay with the DS see what you can do. thanks Andrei

Thanks. I'll work on it to look more like an M, and submit very soon. Anyway, you'll receive the variations for this concept, and you can use any of them as watermark, depending on the photo.

#136 & #137 - Extended the left side of the M, and used different blend modes.

intersting. take 136 and knock out the little piece of the M between the top part of the S and the D. just that little tick.

trying to make the logo simpler. what do you think? is it too complicated?

( Submitted #119 )

Well, considering the fact that there are three letter into a small design, I don't think it's too complicated. You may get that impression from the cutting effect, but without that, it'll really be complicated. Furthermore, when uploading, colors get distorted (loss of quality), so that may apply an unwanted noise effect (especially to red).

If you're planning to use it as a watermark too, a white with 70% transparency would work great I think. And as for the whole logo and symbol stand-alone, you'll surely use it in a slightly larger placeholder which will surely decrease the effect of 'complexity'.

So, bottom line, I think the whole deal with blending and cutting, makes it memorable, but ultimately it's your decision. :)

Sincerely,
Andrei

ok as a designer, which of the DMS combos do you like the best? given what you say, maybe 137 makes more sense with the weaving pattern. advice??

also, any other recommendations on color. I am not devoted to red and black.

From my point of view, I can suggest you use #137. It looks more complete, more sinuous, but not more than the last submission #146. The only issue on #146 would be your opinion. If you feel that the M looks enough like an M, this may be your best choice.

As for the colors, RED-BLACK really stands out. That doesn't mean others won't, like Violet, or a burning Orange. Even green-black may be a good choice. Though it's important, from a designer point of view, colors are a simple matter. I can include a whole pallet of color variation in the source files and you can pick different themes for different usages. That is if you're business does not need to own it's own colors. (which, I don't know, doesn't seem like a good marketing move. Even great corporation adapt their color scheme with the environment )

can you do 137 and knock out the same part knocked out in 146. I like the intertwining letters in 137. let's see what it looks like without the little piece

Done. This changes my suggestion. Wondering why didn't I include this variation.
