I like how you used an image of our performer instead of a stock image of a dancer. It implies movement - a quotation about our dances is "daring and athletic physicality". I also like that you see dance, music, and theater immediately - that will help with my branding. Perhaps that could be even bigger. I think a white background will be the easiest to apply to every context that I need. The capital S is a little fancy and perhaps feminine and since the dancer is female it would be good to keep a balance.
Thank you for the variations! I prefer the more visible type in #13. Could I see the same thing with the "S" and "L" capitalized? In addition, I am wondering if you have any interest in exploring the "lion" theme in the name. For instance, any way that the "g" or the "o" could use a lion's head? That may be too much for one logo, but it was an image I've had in my head for the emblem of the company. We often call ourselves and kids we teach "lions." Thanks for your great work!
Thank you for this great submission. This logo captures much of what we wish to convey, could we try a more "professional" looking font? This one seems a little elementary looking, which does capture our education work, but we also want to come across like a professional dance company, which we are as well. We welcome another look for the font, thanks!
