Hi Streetcarmedia,

My idea is to include the media "play" button in the word and/or the streetcar. For the streetcar I chose a PPC Streetcar (I researched the streetcars in Toronto and they happened to be the same as we have in San Francisco.) I chose a vintage typeface but contrasting old with new, by adding the play button. Feel free to request any changes. Color, shape, typeface... you name it. :) Also, let me know if you prefer I do a SIG streetcar (the newer model you showed in the picture.)

Cheers!

Hey I really like this, could I see it without the play symbol on the car and on the "d" in media? Also if you could do one with a newer streetcar I would love to see that. Trying to decide if I want an older one or a newer one.

Hi thanks for the feedback.

I need to switch out the streetcars with the play buttons either way. It turns out it was already done and I have to be respectful of fellow designers. :) I'll be switching those out shortly.

Thanks

Hello I just uploaded the new streetcar. I'm a traditionalist, so I kept the vehicle facing left. :) Usually, you want a logo to read left to right and the eye to also travel in the same direction. So directional images such as cars, faces animals... are more typically seen facing right. Either way there is no set rule that can't be broken, so I can turn the streetcar and remove the doors. Also, I included the same angle as my previous vintage PPC car. I felt the angle had more "drama" to it (more dynamic look, if you will.)

Your Feedback would be appreciated. I can always change colors, fonts and backgrounds too, for now, I focused on doing the streetcar since it is what takes the longest.

Thanks!
