I like 44 and 43. There is a square shaped umbrella you can view on page 7 of our catalogue at www.sterlingumbrella.ca I wonder if it could be incorporated into the logo in place of the orange star? It wouldn't have to look exactly like it but I think the shape fits well with this concept. I like the logo mark idea to for branding. What would a one color version look like? Its Great! Brian

Hello, I have some great feedback about the logo. Wondering what other options besides orange? Also I think that the logo with out the umbrella may be better as we do much more than just umbrellas.... What would it look like combinding the sterling and sales. or using a different color for the word sales as that is what we are trying to enhance or offer companies ie: to increase their sales. I originally thought I wanted an umbrella in our logo because I like the symbol and we do sell them and also have our own brand “Sterling Umbrella”. Since we started this contest however several people have commented that it makes us look like that is all we do is umbrellas which I now see the point. Also looking down the road 10 years will we still be doing umbrellas to the same degree...that we do now? we can't be sure. Its a bit of a paradox. Right now you are ranked and I like where you are going with ideas that is very good! I like the way boxing the "sales and promotion" looks to in a couple the designs. It provides the pop especially sales...We also want something that will look great One color as the logo with the umbrellas do look great in one color especially in white on blue background. My son commented he liked the "facebook feel" to that, I do agree but the word Sterling has great meaning attached to it already, and it is important that the logo portrays that too. Our company can logo any product and our gift lies in knowing what products will work for promoting any company. My hope is that this all helps build some awareness and understanding. Thank you for your feedback and great efforts thus far. This is great fun for me!
