Comment Activity charcoal commented on #440 Withdrawn Something to mention on this one. The Stellar font has some rounded, or radiused rather, ends which does soften things and add interest to the letters. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #442 Withdrawn This one has middle bar same length in the E 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #363 Withdrawn in regards to this logo, can you please remove the border, keep the same font and remove the vertical line from the letter "E", so it looks like 3 horizontal lines. Our decision would be based on the changes of logo 1 and logo 2 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 We are leaning towards this style without the border. Just another request, can you please remove the side line of the letter "E" in stellar so it looks like 3 horizontal line. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 Cheers for your great advice 6 years ago charcoal commented on #431 I wish I could show you a mockup of the logo in action on a card, vehicle, etc. I can assure you that any concept I've uploaded would work well. It also helps if you have a deep attachment to a design (that also develops over time). Every time you hand out a card it's great if that gives you a good feeling. So trust your gut. But also try to look at it objectively. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #431 I'm leaning towards without box. Reason: you can always give a logo prominence by using scale and space around it. The box does have a "room" feel about it, like a plan view of a house but with the lamp idea it (the box) adds one more element to the design and takes away a little from that subtle unique lamp element. In this case I'm thinking less is more, not always the case. Looks a little more confident and fresh too. I'm splitting hairs really – both look good, I just feel without box feels slightly more bold & modern. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 Can I ask, do you prefer with or without border? 6 years ago charcoal commented on #431 Yep. No worries 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 sorry mate can you show this version again with the fram (border) with other fonts? 6 years ago charcoal commented on #434 Withdrawn It would go well, and thanks! Anyway, let me show you a layout. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #434 Withdrawn mmm can we try with a different colour backgorund? Do you think charcoal could work (great name by the way) ;) 6 years ago charcoal commented on #434 Withdrawn New option with transformed S, E and R, now with some softer curves and character, warmth. Also, Home Styling text is a new font. More rounded, especially the G. Feels like a better fit stylewise. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 cheers, not too feminine, however just an element however still making it inclusive :) 6 years ago charcoal commented on #431 Totally get it. And I think those adjustments will change the look in that direction. :-) Leave it with me and I will be able to get something to see during the day. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 As women make the decision we feel in this is department 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 The reason why we ask is to make it slightly more feminine 6 years ago charcoal commented on #431 I think it's a juggle between modern and softer… I think the S and the R could be more rounded to soften the look. I think the overall weight of font feels good. I'll take a look. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 "lamp style" meaning the A in Stellar :-) 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 ok, the dusty pink/purple and teals as you suggested mate. Just another question, without jeapordising the "lamp style" Do you think a softer/warmer font that is more in line with "styling" could work? 6 years ago charcoal commented on #431 Orange says creativity and energy, and it's got a broad appeal. Plus, it's just a highlight dash of colour so not overdoing it. The other thing is it's quite timeless. I think it could also work with a teal or dusty pink/purple. Needs to be a fairly light colour so as not to hinder legibility of the name. Would you like to see any other colours? 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #431 Thanks, we love this colour scheme, do you think other colour concepts could work? 6 years ago charcoal commented on #431 Without frame as requested. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #427 Withdrawn Sure. Uploading now. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #427 Withdrawn Can we have the logo without the square around it please? 6 years ago charcoal commented on #430 Withdrawn By the way, I'm concentrating on type rather than colour at this point. Cheers 6 years ago charcoal commented on #363 Withdrawn G’day, I have a couple of fonts coming together. I will have new layouts soon 6 years ago charcoal commented on #363 Withdrawn Hey mate, that helps - leave it with me. Cheers 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #363 Withdrawn Hey mate, it’s hard to explain, perhaps try a more modern font that you would associate with a stylish and contemporary company? Softer edges? I could be wrong however based on what I have explained, See what you can do 6 years ago charcoal commented on #395 Withdrawn This is another concept whereby the colour of the A/lamp is the colour of the background.... see other black background version. This box treatment is a strong graphic element that can work over photographic images or coloured backgrounds, so very flexible for all forms of promotion in print or web. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #376 Withdrawn Thanks. I felt that taking things away and making it simpler was increasing its power and confidence as a logo. The small custom features were enough to act as a reference to your creativity and flair. I might try some minimal colour in this one. I like it on a white background but there might be times you need it to work on black. I think it is a good idea to have a plan as to how it will work in both situations/backgrounds. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #363 Withdrawn Hi there, just wondering if you can tell me what you would like to see in a 'different font'? Is this too light in weight, just so I know where you're at. What's not quite there for you on this one. That'll help me fine tune these designs. Thanks! I'm working on this at present. 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #376 Withdrawn I like simplicity and appreciate your feedback 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #363 Withdrawn G'day mate, are you able to produce a similar version with using a diiferent font? and do another one with that different font and no border. Also in your opinion do you prefer black and white or the colour background? cheers 6 years ago stellarhomestyling commented on #363 Withdrawn G'day mate, are you able to produce a similar version with using a diiferent font? and do another one with that different font and no border. The curve in the E balances the stark shape of the A. This logo would present confidence, experience and design flair. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #281 Withdrawn Icon lining up with text lower case letters. Name slightly more prominent in this design. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #280 Withdrawn More of a statement with the icon. The S is now illuminated so talks more of a lamp, and emphasises the S shape. I wanted to consider social media more specifically and the square icon would be a strong image. The S shape communicating well as a stand-alone image. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #248 Withdrawn Great, we've got one in there. I'll have some other concepts to you now that I have a bit of direction. If you have any feedback it's very welcome. 6 years ago charcoal commented on #248 Withdrawn Thanks for reviewing my concepts. Lamp as an "S" shape. 6 years ago
