Something to mention on this one. The Stellar font has some rounded, or radiused rather, ends which does soften things and add interest to the letters.
in regards to this logo, can you please remove the border, keep the same font and remove the vertical line from the letter "E", so it looks like 3 horizontal lines.
Our decision would be based on the changes of logo 1 and logo 2
We are leaning towards this style without the border. Just another request, can you please remove the side line of the letter "E" in stellar so it looks like 3 horizontal line.
I wish I could show you a mockup of the logo in action on a card, vehicle, etc. I can assure you that any concept I've uploaded would work well. It also helps if you have a deep attachment to a design (that also develops over time). Every time you hand out a card it's great if that gives you a good feeling. So trust your gut. But also try to look at it objectively.
I'm leaning towards without box. Reason: you can always give a logo prominence by using scale and space around it. The box does have a "room" feel about it, like a plan view of a house but with the lamp idea it (the box) adds one more element to the design and takes away a little from that subtle unique lamp element.
In this case I'm thinking less is more, not always the case. Looks a little more confident and fresh too.
I'm splitting hairs really – both look good, I just feel without box feels slightly more bold & modern.
New option with transformed S, E and R, now with some softer curves and character, warmth.
Also, Home Styling text is a new font. More rounded, especially the G. Feels like a better fit stylewise.
Totally get it. And I think those adjustments will change the look in that direction. :-) Leave it with me and I will be able to get something to see during the day.
I think it's a juggle between modern and softer… I think the S and the R could be more rounded to soften the look. I think the overall weight of font feels good. I'll take a look.
Orange says creativity and energy, and it's got a broad appeal. Plus, it's just a highlight dash of colour so not overdoing it. The other thing is it's quite timeless.
I think it could also work with a teal or dusty pink/purple. Needs to be a fairly light colour so as not to hinder legibility of the name.
Hey mate, it’s hard to explain, perhaps try a more modern font that you would associate with a stylish and contemporary company? Softer edges? I could be wrong however based on what I have explained, See what you can do
This is another concept whereby the colour of the A/lamp is the colour of the background.... see other black background version.
This box treatment is a strong graphic element that can work over photographic images or coloured backgrounds, so very flexible for all forms of promotion in print or web.
Thanks. I felt that taking things away and making it simpler was increasing its power and confidence as a logo. The small custom features were enough to act as a reference to your creativity and flair.
I might try some minimal colour in this one.
I like it on a white background but there might be times you need it to work on black. I think it is a good idea to have a plan as to how it will work in both situations/backgrounds.
Hi there, just wondering if you can tell me what you would like to see in a 'different font'? Is this too light in weight, just so I know where you're at. What's not quite there for you on this one. That'll help me fine tune these designs. Thanks! I'm working on this at present.
G'day mate, are you able to produce a similar version with using a diiferent font? and do another one with that different font and no border. Also in your opinion do you prefer black and white or the colour background? cheers

More of a statement with the icon. The S is now illuminated so talks more of a lamp, and emphasises the S shape.
I wanted to consider social media more specifically and the square icon would be a strong image. The S shape communicating well as a stand-alone image.

Just another question, without jeapordising the "lamp style" Do you think a softer/warmer font that is more in line with "styling" could work?

Would you like to see any other colours?
