feedback appreciated... I am a "stats dad"
- you could have a contest based on who can identify the symbols correctly.

Regarding Entry #1 - I'm intrigued by the symbols, but I think that in the current layout they compete with the name. You will have to explain the symbols. Thanks for your entry.

thanks for the comments... changes based on suggestions.
1st 3 symbols... golf par 4 birdie, par 4 bogey, par 4.
next are from baseball...triple, single
yellow card from soccer [only one I could think of besides red card], and a double [baseball again]
the last are from basketball...3 pt'er "and 1", 2 free throws [both good]

Regarding entry #2 i am not sure that the stats symbols are working. What was throwing me were the dash, double dash and triple dash lines representing single, double, triple. I do not use these. I used the symbols 1B, 2B, 3B, HR - the double dash looks like an equal sign and made the entire series look like a mathematical equation.

Perhaps we should explore symbols that might have double meaning - sac (sacrifice), HR (success), a diamond filled in (Run success), WP (wild pitch / wild idea), yellow card (Penalty Caution), 3 in a circle (birdie success), 5 in a box, bogey failure, X in a box - two free throws both made - (Success).

I realize that using letters for the scoring symbols might compete with the letters in the name.

I would also like to explore the dad / youth dynamic.

Hope this helps.

Regarding Entry #2 and #1 - the creative tie in to a 9 inning baseball stat sheet is very creative. The symbols in Entry #2 are a bit faint while the symbols in Entry #1 are a bit over powering. I like the thinner lines in #1 compared to #2. Would like to see different symbols per my previous comment.

Thanks for your revisions #49 - I think that this design is so smart - and really speaks to me. I am going to have a very difficult time deciding. I have one very minor change request - I would like to mix up the symbols between sports - instead of having consecutive basketball followed by baseball, etc. Also - what does the "1" symbolize? Also - I do not think that you need the complete diamonds with the basepaths bolded for single, double, triple. If I need to use the logo in a small format - this would get lost and it would look like 3 diamonds. I would like just the lines that are currently bolded without the completed diamonds for each hit type. Again thanks very smart.

thanks for the comments, the 1 was under a yellow card for soccer connection, ...drop it for a bar graph. I tightened up the rest of the symbols, and switched them around per your suggestion. ...glad you like the previous entries, my son has loved standing over my shoulder [when its not too late] and watching this come together. This has been a lot of fun. - the B [Bryan]
