Regarding #13 and #14 - I appreciate the creativity with the conversation bubbles - using the quotes as eyes and the mouth to give it character. To communicate that the site is a two way medium. I think that the ball volleying back and forth adds interest and puts the site in the context of sports. However, the design is too whimsical.
