I like both of your ideas ....
fyi ..... STAGE 72 is a small elegant, recreation of a 1930's Movie Palace Theater.
If you look at the original jpg photo that I attached ... you can see our beautifully designed stage ...
I think taking your stage idea and making it look more like our actual stage would be very interesting.
Also, lets put STAGE 72 on one line ...on the top
and then project Step Into The Unexpected - centered on the curtain
We need to maximize the space for the words .... while keeping the visual artwork.
Can we make it bigger without over doing it?
What do you think? - Rick

Hi Don
I have attached another logo concept ... which I've had for many years:
see it in the brief details listed under: STAGE 72 LOGO BLANK.jpg, 204KB
I would love to see STAGE 72 on the Top line
Replace the center stars with NYC
The Bottom line .... Step Into The Unexpected.
I am only requesting 2 artists|designers to possibly do this ....
you and Lawrie.
Thanks again for your talent and creativity. Rick

Hi Don -
I like it.
The fonts need to 'pop' more than they do.
The overall detail in the original image is very Chrysler Building -ish and is beautiful in its detail.
So we need to find the correct font to fit and complete the image.
Thoughts?
Also, I would make NYC font smaller overall but keep the Y taller than the N and C
Thanks - Rick

Don - Keep the overall elegant luster of the gold ... but if you like ... play some with colors too .

Keep it elegant and fun!

Thanks - Rick

Hi Don -
Are you going to be able to workup a rendition of your stage idea making it look more like our actual stage?
We have a BIG ARCH over our stage ... there is a photo of our stage is in original brief.

If you could do this ... please put STAGE 72 on one on the top line
and Step Into The Unexpected - centered on the curtain

We need to maximize the space for the words .... while keeping the visual artwork.
Thanks - Rick
