Hi Ah-ha Thanks for submitting to our competition!
#166/7/9 - This is simple and you're the first person to recognise the radio communicaitons bit of Sputnik. It seems a shame to loose our red star, but I totally see where this is coming from.
#174/5/6 - I'm not so sure what's going on here.
#171/2 - ..or here :-)
#180 - Can you explain why you have chosen an eagle? It looks great, and would look even better in colour, but I'm not sure what the image is trying to say.
Hi, Andy! Thanks for the feedback. #166 -- a star can easily be placed where the circle is. #180 -- the eagle represents a few things. One, the whole idea of soaring to new heights. Secondly, the eagle (the double-headed eagle as well) is a powerful Russian symbol. Finally, it's representative of the wing/crest icon so prevalent in the Aston Martin logo. #195 and #196 -- reminiscent of the Sputnik time period. And again, stars could replace the circles. Thanks for the opportunity to submit. Please request any revision or color requests you wish. Thanks! ~Geoff
