Hi, thanks for the feedback. Well, this is just an initial submission from me so of course I can revise it or even totally change the character during the contest. Actually, I took this character look with retro style similar inspired from hey archie and richie rich.. But if I wasn't in the right direction, that's fine. I just think the character at the attachment has more cartoony and silly look, instead of serious look. As you can see the proportion of his hands, legs, nose, they looks not normally sized, and more cartoony. Maybe if you have another reference of retro character illustration you like, that will be very helpful. So I can make sure that I'm on the right track before I get started to make the revision. Roy, I'm not sure this character idea is going to be achieved exactly the way I want. If you are willing and or interested I'd like to change the logo idea to something probably easier. The idea is for a flat light gray background and a contrasting glossy aqua very realistic waterballoon with splash written in white on it as if the writing was there before the balloon was inflated. Giving it a stretched effect. Interested in changing gears?
Hi, since you changing the gears and gave different direction decided not using character anymore, I suggest you updating the brief. Someone has claim the balloon with splash inside it as their concept. If you could clarify here, that would be great.
Also, the contest now already in top 5 phase, which means only top 5 ranked designer who still able to submit. Since you changed the direction few hours before the contest goes to top5, that makes your contest got lack of entry. Mayb you can contact admin request for extended time.
