Alternatively, could you try making two versions of this one:
1. Squish all the letters, so they are a little shorter and therefor appear wider
2. Simply reduce the vertical black space in the top and bottom of the S and in the hole in the P (keep the white the same thickness).
We want to be able to use the both the version with the letters inside the beam and with the beam as part of the P. However, I think the font is narrower inside the beam, right? Could we see that font used when the beam is part of the P and not connect the S to the P please?

Could you please show an option to have the top left portion of the S parallel with the bottom right side of the S? Could you show 2 versions: one with only that change, and one version with white space between the S and the P, so they are not connected.
Please center the beam at the bottom of the flying saucer. I think it would also be worth experimenting with some additional but similar modern fonts, just to see some variations. This is currently my favorite logo and is in first place!
I'm going to sleep now but I will share these with my partners and get their feedback. Could you do all black and white (no yellow) versions on the other ones as well? Continue to play with he beam and font. I love these!!!!
Another idea is to use the triangle from the flying saucer as the vertical post of the P or the L? Not sure if that would mean all of the letter should be slanted. Play with this!
Really like this. Great use of light and triangle. Could you play with the letters and their placement a bit? Maybe a couple versions of them in the triangle or casting shadow from the light?
