This design has been done on a black background to highlight the brightness of the light coming from behind the Cross. I will understand if you are not interested due to the complexity of the design. However , if you do like the design please feel free to request alterations , adjustments in color and so on.
I love it! Tweak: Can "life church" be made as wide as the word "Spiritual" above it, like entry #27? Question: I like the background in black, but what would this look like when we have to print it out on a white background--is there another version? Thanks and keep up the great work! Britt
Also, how about keeping the reflection in the form of the cross without having an actual cross in the center? That's what I thought it was at first, then I looked closer and could see the cross inside. Not sure if that's necessary.
Received your e-mail (4:30 PM CST) I have made adjustments as requested and removed the Cross from the center of the design. I also made adjustments to the text under the word Spiritual. Please feel free to continue to request adjustments. I am here to try a develop the finest Spiritual design as possible. There is also a new design with a white background that I will continue to make adjustments to. I will get the right Spiritual effect . I have to work with it some more. Thanks for the kind words Britt.
Looking great! Two things: Maybe the LIFE CHURCH could go a tiny bit lower? It seems a bit crowded. Challenge: We LOVE the version on the black background, but the one on the white background just isn't that impressive, and would be tough to use on bulletins, etc. Can you think of any way of making the one on the white background as impressive as the one on black?
Received your e-mail and have made the requested adjustments. I have enhanced the design on the white background by converting the original design on the black background into a negative and overlaying it on white. Tried to increase the definition to make things match up and standout on the white background. It is a improvement. Color seems to standout more against a darker background. I also lowered the text below the word Spiritual and submitted two samples of each design for you to look over. Please feel free to contact me with any further requests.
Looking great! Still love the black and hate the white, though. What I'm thinking for the white version is this: Somehow put black behind the cross itself, fading out into white. Do you think that's possible?
Sorry for the delay in writing you Britt. I have been experimenting with your graphic design on the white background. I have not reached a high level of satisfaction with the white background. However I have tried and learned a few new things as I have worked with the effects. I have added your tag line ( Pursuing Gods Presence , Power & Purpose. ) Vary good tag line by the way. At this point I am leaning towards # 82 as the best effect on a white background. # 81 is something new but does not have the high impact that I would like in terms of color mix. It does not stand out as strong as #82. I added the rays of light to the lower right trying to enhance the effect of brightness #81. I am thinking that we need to set or focus on #82 and Pray that all will come together and show Gods Presence in the design & display the Power. Give me another day or two if you can.
Thanks, Robert! Two other ideas: Keep the white on black and fade the black out around the edges. Or, change gears--go for a white-backgrounded logo that has light coming over a horizon? Just thoughts. Keep up the great work, friend!
To our top contenders I'm writing: Would love to see something with water in it--a reflection, a waterfall, a person with hands upraised within it, whatever you can think of. Thank you! Britt
I hope you're still out there! Look at 107. It'd be great if we could do the same: Put the light within a black box of the same shape as 107, put the wording outside. Can you give it a try?
The photo used in this design I had developed monday. it is ok to use the photo in this contest as I took the picture myself. Photo from Destin Florida. I will sign it over to you if you like it. Let me know what you think Britt Majestic_Concepts
