#51: I know the contest is winding down but I just had a thought on this. After a lot of study on this, the only reason this is #5 instead of higher up is because I can't tie healthcare to the symbol. I don't know how hard it is but instead of a 4-pointed star, what if this symbol could be done with an more healthcare related symbol?
Thank you. I see it now but am afraid that if it was lost on me (I was looking for it) it might be lost on the casual observer. Being in the "Bible Belt", all I kept seeing was a religious inference (Star of Bethlehem) silly as that may seem
#51: Sorry about how that turned out. This was my first time in the tournament. I didn't realize I would be cut off like that - I am learning though. I am a little disappointed because I felt like I had a breakthrough on your design. I look forward to seeing your work on my next project. Thank you for your efforts on this one.
I completely understand. Just FYI, during judging mode, only the designer ranked in 1st place may submit revisions, but you can re-rank designers at any time.
If you have made up your mind about the winning designer then I look forward to participating in your next contest.
#51: Thank you for your clarification of the process. Still trying to decide between 4 designs. We had spoken of somehow changing this and I thank you for your follow up. However, they weren't quite what I was looking for. I appreciate you stepping out of the box with your imaging (almost everyone else followed my suggestion of an EKG symbol - not sure whether or not that was a good idea) but they really aren't working for me. However, I really like your colors and the fact that the symbol could be a stand-alone representation of the brand. Any other thoughts?
There are stethoscopes, EKG symbols, etc. Also remember it's a financial investment firm so financial can also come into play (but not a dollar sign--too obvious)
I managed to squeeze in these revisions before I stepped out. #107 & #108 explore a new cross shape, while #109 adds the EKG line. Then I lessened the shape of the cross to make way for #110, #111 & #112. #113, #114 & #115 have less intensity in the colors so that the EKG line can be more noticeable.
Let me know your thoughts. In case you leave me any comments, I'll make sure to read them on my phone while I'm out.
Yes. I now want the team to weigh in on the 2 or 3 top. The colors are great. I really like the way everything turned out. There are some minor adjustements that we will request if we select this one but we can deal with that at the appropriate time.
