I like where this design is going... the action, the simplicity, the clean lines. One thing, however, is we are trying to get away from the wheelchair in the old logo. I can see how the old logo would lead you that way. We believe having anything that draws attention to a "special needs" situation is a negative. We have many participants who are not in a wheelchair as well as those who are. But to wear a t-shirt or hat with a logo that draws attention to a "special need" makes them stand out to the world in a negative way.
Again, though, I like where you are going with this design.
