Strong, robust shaped letter forms. The removed letter parts create an open space that suns the length of the logo. This leaves behind unconnected shapes that can be inferred to completed "SPE" much like the modular components of a construction or building project eventually complete a finished form. The "striped" color approach is a reflection of standard paint schemes of a large container ship's hull / deck ... Variation 1

I shortlisted the two options that I liked most (#32 and #29).

Would it be possible to add some kind of symbol to these options without cluttering the image?

A simple icon placed next to the the letter is the best bet for not cluttering the logo. Are there any specific requests or direction in the area of the type of symbol desired?
