Hi, thanks for joining in! Would it be possible to see any of these with a white background of some kind? Several of us are really intrigued with this and we love your portfolio.
Dear contest holder Thank you you for the message and the appreciation. here are my entries on a white background: #94 #95 #96 Please feel free to contact me if you need modifications. Kind regards Tzina - lotus creative
Hi Tzina, these look really great, and you are now among our favorite artists. Thanks for doing some with the white background. Question for you: just so that we make sure we are staying clear from any similar logos, would you mind playing a little bit more with the spark exploding from the stone? It's really interesting, but it is positioned in a way that could draw comparisons to one or more other companies, and that's something we'll want to avoid. You could either add one or two more sparks around on the surface of the stone (rather than just the one); or, if you wanted to, you could put the spark on the other side somehow. Thanks!
Also, you know what would be super cool to see? One or two of these designs done the way you would imagine Nikola Tesla would do them. That would be awesome. Not too crazy, but you get what I mean, right?
Hi again, Tzina - we have narrowed the list of our favorite 5 designers and, while we are impressed with all the designers that have submitted ideas, you are definitely on that top 5 list. We just want to see some small adjustments, if that's okay, as we have some specific design ideas we are really keen on trying with your work. Here they are:
1. While everyone likes what you've done a lot, a couple of people have wondered if it might look too much like an image of a cell (a virus or etc.) when they didn't know about the spark context. We think that was because there is a visible ring at the outer edge of some of these. We'd like to see you play with having the outer ring or any similarity to a virus cell less pronounced. It looks cool, but we don't want to draw the comparison.
2. This is an odd comment, but we're being careful here: By having the spark erupting where it is, it makes the design look a little bit like the logo for Touchstone Pictures, which is a comparison we also want to avoid. Could you play a little with moving where that eruption is happening and the direction it's going? And maybe trying one that has more than one spark?
3. Can we try one or two that have the appearance of molten rock inside that sends cracks around the outside? Picture the idea of looking down on a stone volcano caldera, which is about to erupt and the stone is cracking along the surface in various directions.
4. Finally, can we try playing with the font a little bit? We like the one you've chosen, but would like to see other variations. It could be that the letters in that font are a little spread out. And as long as you are tightening them or changing them, feel free to get creative in terms of whether the whole word is one color, or there is one color (or neutral) for one half the word, and something more red or orange or yellow for the other half the word (i.e. spark and stone). Other designers tried this and we actually liked it.
And of course, if you have any ideas of your own that you don't mind experimenting with, all the better!
Hi thank you for the great feedback and the rank. Here are some revisions with adjustments #110 #111 #112 #113 #114 #115 #121 I hope this is closer to what you are looking for. I am working on the molten rock idea. I am at your disposal. Kind regards Tzina - lotus creative
Hi Tzina, I know you are already working on the molten rock idea, but if you have a moment, could you try pulling back on the length of the spark to the left on #113? Sorry to bug you for such a tiny thing - one partner wanted to see that.
You'll notice there is a new leader in spot #1 and it's your #113. :)
To clarify: Actually, keep #113 as it is - just add a new one with slightly less trajectory on the sparks. If you don't think it would look good, then no worries.
Hi Tzina, we temporarily changed the order for a few hours, but it is not the final order of choices. We love the designs you've created and we hope to have a final decision soon.
Dear contest holder I would like to thank you for choosing my artwork :) It was a pleasure working with you. You have my best wishes for your project. kind regards, Tzina - lotus creative
