Hi Scott....We appreciate your interest and your work. This is a small matter to correct, but the proper spelling of the name is CertTEC. An extra "R" go into your system. Please make that correction. We are confined to the current CertTEC type style. Please be creative within that parameter. Thanks for your help. Skip
some one has a problem with us using the R symbol so I have removed all the submission and re-uplaoded without R symbol..my advise is to contact Admin ASAP
Hi Scott....CertTEC is a registered trademark. The company requires that the mark be included. Did someone at TL intervene in some way? Please let me know who I can contact. Thanks, Skip
Thanks for your input Scott. We will deal with the trademark symbol later. Your Entry #37 is very interesting. We will appreciate your submission with red lettering, red star, and some way to make the subtitle more readable. Thanks, Skip
Thanks Scott. I appreciate your help very much. I have not had any luck with responses from LT so far, but will keep trying. It helps to know that Ivan might be the one to help us. Skip
Ivan will get to your inquiry, LT has only one person handling support for LT...Ivan will get back to you hopefully to day but being Friday most likely Monday
Thank you for your updates and your good work. All that you are doing is very much appreciated. I am away from my office in California through tomorrow night. Starting today, however, I am communicating with the SpaceTEC/CertTEC Ececutive Director, Steve Kane, who is back in his office in Florida after a four-day trip. I will continue to manage our TL effort, Ultimately, Steve will make the final determination. Your work is outstanding. Without question, you are in the top tier. I will explain your roles, and will give you all feedback. For the moment, I will leave your latest entries in the Incoming Entries section, and will ask Steve to see they are new additions.
Also, I would like to thank you too for your comments and advice over the course of the contest. I did not notice your comment about the quality of the attachments until yesterday. I guess I had not been looking in the right place. For CertTEC, now have a Vector.eps document, which I was told is of better quality. I have not yet figured how to upload and distribute it, but will be able to do so by tomorrow night at the latest. Hopefully, this will help.
Thanks for asking Scott. At the very least, he will support an arrangement to add the trademark symbol at the end of the contest. As an alternative, we could jump through a few more hoops. At this point, it might seem too complicated and disruptive to ask for new submissions with the mark. In your work, CerTEC has had the mark next to the bare name, It might be possible to simply add the mark outside the artwork. Your interest and assistance is appreciated. Skip
if the company is Registered Trademark officially I do not see the problem of using the R symbol during the contest however LT policy was to prevent adding the R symbol to logos which have not been legally Registered Trademark beforehand.
Adding the symbol is not a problem it's easily added afterward outside of LT it will not change the overall design.
Thanks Scott. I will get documentation from CertTEC in the next day or two, and we can take it from there. I have been away from an office since Friday, and have been limited in what I can do. I will keep you posted. Thanks, Skip
Thanks Scott. You are very talented. I will help in any way I can and will give you all input I receive. The selections come from management. There has been interest in mercator lines to create a global effect. This was included in updated instructions, and is available to all artists. Would that work with the silver background or would another treatment be needed. I expect to get most meaningful input on Thursday. I hope this helps. Skip
Thanks Scott. #130 is a nice addition to the mix. I will be away from a computer for several hours during the day, and will be flying late today. I will follow up in any ways I can as soon as I can. Thanks, Skip
Hi Scott...I appreciate your note and your willingness to help in any way. I have helped CertTEC through the LT process, and remain involved. I work in California, but wait for requests or directives from CertTEC management in Florida. I am available through weekends, but can see that I will not get additional input until tomorrow. Your talents are highly regarded, and are recognized by all. You have done a lot to help me. I will do all I can to give you any insights that will help you, and will follow up as soon as possible. Hi Scott....After a group meets in Florida in a couple of hours I will get more insights. I have advised that we have three more days in LT, and that we can use this opportunity to make any changes that might be desired. If I think of anything additional that might be considered, I will let you know. The only artists that are being considered are you and Uta. I will keep you posted. Thanks, Skip
Hi Scott....Late this day I received feedback. The group is focused on tweaking an entry submitted by Uta. You got high marks, and will get second place recognition. You got great comments. Please know that others have moved entries around on the board. I understand the system, and will make sure that you in the second spot at the time the contest is closed officially. Again, we appreciate all your good work. You are very talented. From a personal standpoint, I liked your entry #127 a lot. You provided a great touch with the metallic background. In the end, it is all subjective, with the company making the final decision. Keep up your good work. You are very talented, and have been very willing to help. These are great qualities. Thanks, Skip
Hi Scott....It is great to hear from you. I have appreciated your help in many ways, and was pleased to let Ivan know. The folks at SpaceTEC/CertTEC/VetTEC are open to ideas. They did not want to create a set of directions, but could easily relate to something that includes an oval. They did not specify colors, but might relate well to red, white, and blue as colors that relate to the US military service people and veterans that they are serving. I will get input from them this week as they view entries, and will be pleased to provide any guidance that I can. Thanks for anything you might to do. Skip
