I love the concept. I am really looking for a unique logo reflecting the South and the Paw of our name. I am hoping for clever designs. I like the purple and blue of course better. and maybe darker blues or burgundy/darker red/magentas. Also, can you do some designs with other species as a group with all the left paws accented? Maybe Parrots, cats, lizards, guinea pigs, etc all highlighting the left paw. Or even just left paw prints all around the logo.? Keep working, they look great. thanks.
My goal was to keep the design readable and also bring all the aspects of your company in front. But there is a Bonus! ... The concept of SP "lefty" is also include in the imagery by showing a dog who gives is left leg to Mr. Vet. The Cat is include in a subtle way so that he don't overload the design, the same reason I include the parrot in the "South" (link with Tropical). I wanted to include a Lizard but I thought it was to busy... so I gave him the job of "Ornament" at the end of the logo.

Your english is great. I like the newer designs but prefer the previous colors (black background ) The greens and oranges are just not our colors at all, so please don't waste your time on them. Definitely, I like the black background, with Navy blue, burgundy, or muted purples. Thanksssssss.
Can you please do some of the designs on burgundy background or blue background instead of black to let me see how it looks. many of my staff members really like your designs and am searching for the right combo of colors and contrasts. Please don't be offended I eliminated some of your designs............it was only due to colors that don't appeal to me.

Here are the new versions... notice that I did some modifications... Mr. Lizard just gat promoted from "ornament" to "P hole ". Lucky for him and The paw close the line from now on.
I really like the Blue version.... What is great about this design is that it can use any color scheme without losing its identity.

Sorry so long to rate, just been really busy. I did extend the contest to give myself time to rate these and also time for the designs to develop the way I would like.
and yes, your designs are evolving nicely. I really like the use of the animals in the letters. I still like the left paw of the dog highlighted also.
Could you try a white or grey background with the design in burgundy and blue or burgundy and grey. The reason is that I will use this design monogramed on clothing for work, letterhead stationery etc and I was thinking that with the dark background it would look kinda funny with a block of dark color on these objects, So I would like to see your designs without background color or light background to see how it would look. ... a more classic version, I highlighted only the left side for south paw. I insiste on the fact that all my entries can be reproduce on any medium. I have a tendency to overload the designs because of your top rankings but I'm always making sure the message is getting out of each design. Thank you !
I really like #175. Can you make it in a more burgundy/red color instead of so orange/salmon colored. And can you try switching the dog and the paw (dog on left and paw on right just to see how it looks...........................thanks so much............You designers are making it very hard to choose...................nmlfxr.
Use #89 and 90 but make the dog larger and centered as in #85.......so the dog sits alone above the lettering and the cat remains in the letters. Can you also try this and 89 with a white background and burgundy /navy lettering instead of the colored background.......................................thank you for listening.....................nmlfxr

....And these are the other modifications you ask for. I should tell you that this series is my favorite in all that I have done. I really like the dog bigger... because the concept of the left paw shows really well, and it clarify the logo. I don't like the SPAH short cut (sorry for my honesty) ... because you already have a concept in you name (south paw) your name is composed of two words already and you have an under title (Animal Health inc.) ... if you use the SPAH on top of that, I think it will be over charge. Too much is like not enough. ... Again, this is my opinion. It was very enjoying working on your contest.
p.s. : by the way, I read your comments and you don't have to worry about clip arts , etc. No one is allowed to use clip arts... we all do our own and unique design. ; ) thanks !! sorry again for my english.
