I really like this logo to actually. I like it because it's not as tall and it blends into the words.
Could you throw me a couple other variations of this one too? Not sure what I'd change though, really like it.

Actually Now that I look at it more, I think what I'm noticing is that the S in "southern" gets overshadowed by the chili in the background. It needs to stand out more somehow, maybe bigger or outlined with white or a different color etc.
