Thanks for your entries! We viewed a couple different bridge logos before posting our contest, and the consensus among our group was that we didn't like suspension/draw bridges only because we don't have any in our area. We like a bridge because of what it signifies - connecting things together - but central to our purpose is the fact that we know our community. We like the look of #3/#4, but the bridge in #6/#7 is more in line with what we want. However, when I look at #6/#7, I see more crown than I do bridge. Finally, I think we would like to see logos that combine both texts: a larger "SEVACF" with a smaller "Southeast Virginia Community Foundation" below it. Many thanks again.
I really like the overall style of #8. I think the bridge needs to be more pronounced. It's close, though. I think we want to look at the bridge element and know immediately that it's a bridge. Your text layout is great.
Hello. Our contest ends in ~19 hours, and your entry #12 is getting a lot of talk among our Board of Directors. Is there any way that you can strengthen the bridge element in the graphic? Not increase the porportion of the bridge to the other elements in the graphic, just make the bridge slightly more obvious. We really like the sails.
Regarding the text, we would like to lose the "The" in the 2nd line (it would just read "Southeast Virginia Community Foundation"). Also, in both lines, we would like to see two different colors used, with the stronger color (blue) being placed on the "CF" in the first line and the "Community Foundation" in the second.
