...exploring this concept a bit further,...added white outline of the orange parts, making it more prominent accent,...also, separating all fields in the design, making it more print friendly! ...negative space version of this design is on entry #172!
Glad to be of assistance! People more than offten go with "pop-up" design, with lots of details and visual effects (shines, gradients, reflections), but when it comes to practical application of the logo, technical problems emerge, and redesign, or additional adjustments, is not a rare thing,...this is why simplicity and clean colors are mostly used in quality contemporary design.
If we incorporate this instead of the "O", it might be very hard to recognize all the details in design, and when it comes to practical applications, such as printing, or embroidering, it would be next to imposible to have clean print,...this is one of the reasons, why I don't use gradients in my designs, but only flat colors.
Secondary reason, why I can't use this idea, is because it might interfere with other designer's concept.
Hope these little tips about practical applications will be useful!
Quick question - I wonder what the logo might look like if the image was actually in the O? Sorry - I so appreciate all the things you've been doing to update this!
Maybe I should elaborate a bit more on this concept, so you have all relevant info about it, specialy since it is not just a classic mandala. Three circle elements in the inner circle, form a shape in the center, called - triquetra, which in many cultures symbolizes unity of MIND, BODY and SOUL, and represents balance between the three.
So, there you go, in case you're after background story, that is also great conversation starter about the logo! :)
...very simple, contemporary design, with lotus flower on water surface on one symbolic level, and tree, as symbol of growth/development, on the other! Negative space version on #119!
...one cleaner/simpler design, with flower, as symbol for branding (extra exposure, noticable beauty/quality),...there's also another level, with symbolic figures, with raised hands, creating flower petals. Neg. space, monochrome version on #116!
Here's one potentialy interesting semi-mandala form design, with soul symbol created in the middle,...monochromatic, negative space version is on entry #112!
Hope you'll like the ideam and feel free to jump in with ideas for potential improvements! Thank you!
