#20 Hi Dreamcatcher, this one has potential. First, I like the main typeface. Second, I like the movement. So here is what I would like to try next.
1. Keep to one typeface for the whole thing.
2. Keep the tagline together.
3. Unify the whole thing so the theme of togetherness and integration is affirmed
4. Simplify the thistle graphic. Keep in mind that sometimes those things can look like pineapples!
5. How about trying to make the tagline follow the same wave as the name? (flush right)

Thank you for the feedback Laurie. Hopefully these are the changes you were looking for, I think #47 accomplishes what you requested more than #46 but both are there just in case. Let me know if there's anything else you like to see different.

this captures some of what we are looking for. in the next round:

1. use an extremely simple typeface for the tagline and try all caps. this will contrast with the name. i find that (contrary to my earlier suggestion) it is too much to have them both in the same typeface.

2. I suggest putting the tagline below the name and right to the right end of the d. Again, this indicates a wave with more movement.

3. Simplify the thistle. Lose the leaves on the thistle, push it down and increase the size.

4. Use more contrasting colours of red and yellow so it jumps out at you. Imagine it on a T-shirt or a banner in a parade.

4. Now one more wish: can you give the picture some unique thrust, unique style? The leaf is too much like the actual Canadian flag. It doesn't smack of adventure and fun.

Go for it!

some improvement here, dreamcatcher, keep working on it

maybe eliminate the fanlike top of the thistle and make the points much shorter.

simplify the leaf too, fewer points

give the tagline a little extra space below the name

Hi Dreamcatcher, nice work.

This is one of my top 3 choices and has potential to win the contest, if we can adjust a few things.

The shape of the maple leaf needs work. It doesn't quite look like a maple leaf right now. Allow for the symbolic, trademark shape while giving it some unique twist.

Keep simplifying the thistle. Currently there is too much detail. It needs a body (bulb) and some spears at the top. That is about it. Ditch the inside specks and the hairs on the left and right.

The tagline needs to align to give it the right uniformity--it needs to align perfectly with the d on the right and be small enough to give it space before the small "f."

Finally, I like the way the name in your original of this design was more wavy. I noticed you calmed it down a bit. I like it better when it was wavier.

Thank you so much for all your work on Easter Weekend!
